Norvela is a one-person software studio in Selma, Alabama, formed in August 2026. It builds native iPhone and iPad applications, web applications, and the systems underneath them, and takes client work at a fixed price quoted before the work starts.
Every app Norvela has shipped runs entirely on the device it is installed on. There are no accounts to create, no servers holding user data, and no third-party tracking in any released app. That is an engineering decision before it is a policy one: software with no backend has nothing to breach, nothing to meter, and nothing to switch off later.
Two apps are on the App Store. CleanSwipe finds the near-duplicate photographs that collect in an iPhone camera roll and shows them a group at a time. Psalm is a daily devotional with three short readings a day and four public-domain translations resident on the device.

Apps on the App Store
CleanSwipe
- What it is
- A photo‑library cleaner for iPhone. It groups the near‑duplicate shots a camera roll collects and shows a whole group at once, so one decision covers eight photographs instead of one.
- Platform
- iPhone
- Category
- Utilities
- Price
- Free to use, with a one‑time $6.99 unlock. No subscription.
- Released
- 5 September 2026 · current version 1.0.5
- App Store
- apps.apple.com/app/id6807435710
- Page
- norvela.app/cleanswipe
- Notable
- The analysis runs on the device. Nothing is deleted until you confirm it, and what you bin goes to the system Recently Deleted album rather than anywhere of ours.
Psalm
- What it is
- A daily devotional for iPhone and iPad. Three short readings a day — morning, midday and night — about a minute each, 365 days written to be read in order.
- Platform
- iPhone and iPad · requires iOS 18
- Category
- Reference · Lifestyle · rated 4+
- Price
- Free. No in‑app purchases, no advertising.
- Released
- 16 September 2026 · version 1.0 · 28.1 MB
- App Store
- apps.apple.com/app/id6809584113
- Page
- norvela.app/psalm
- Translations
- King James Version, World English Bible (Updated), American Standard Version and Young’s Literal Translation — all four in the public domain, all four resident in the app. 66‑book Protestant canon; no deuterocanonical books.
- Notable
- 1,095 readings, every citation checked against the text it names by a gate the readings have to pass before they can ship. Dictation into the journal uses Apple’s on‑device recognizer, so speech becomes text without leaving the device.
Assets
Free for editorial use. Please do not recolor the mark or set it on a ground that drops it below 3:1 contrast — beyond that, use them as you need.

App icons, device screenshots and higher resolutions are available on request and usually the same day. They are not posted here yet because posting a stale screenshot is worse than posting none, and the apps are still changing week to week.
What we will not claim
A press kit is where a small company is most tempted to borrow credibility it has not earned, so this section exists to say what is deliberately missing.
- No download or user numbers. Both apps are new. Apple does not report analytics below a privacy threshold it does not publish, so any figure we gave you would be an estimate wearing a decimal point.
- No awards, no badges, no press logos. There are none.
- No customer quotes. When there are real ones, they will be attributed to real people who agreed to it.
- No superlatives we cannot show you. If a claim on this page can be checked, it is because we expect it to be.
