Getting started

Pick a mode — Intervals, Tabata, EMOM, AMRAP, For Time or Stopwatch — or tap one of the four starters on Home. Tap once to start; the whole screen is the pause button while a session runs.

Cues not playing over your music

Reti’s cues are built to mix in over whatever you’re already playing, not to interrupt it. If you aren’t hearing them:

  • Check that Silent mode is off in Reti’s settings — with it on, the phone buzzes instead of sounding a cue, by design.
  • Check your phone’s system volume, not just the volume of the app you’re listening to.
  • Check whether a Focus is on. Some Focus configurations silence app sound; turning the Focus off or allowing Reti through it fixes it.

Casting to a TV

Open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring to AirPlay to a TV or a set-top box on the same network. You can also connect with a cable. Either way, Reti fills the screen with a large, phase-colored readout sized to be read from across the room.

Siri phrases

No setup is required. With a timer or workout chosen, try:

  • “Hey Siri, start my workout in Reti.”
  • “Hey Siri, pause” / “resume” / “stop.”
  • “Hey Siri, go” — to end a coach-mode rest early.
  • “Hey Siri, skip.”

Changing or resetting your Coach plan

Settings → Your plan → Equipment changes what you train with mid-plan — a week of travel, say. This week and every week after it are rebuilt for the new equipment; the weeks you’ve done stay as they were. Change it back the same way when you’re home.

Settings → Your plan → Reset plan clears the plan and your answers so you can start again. Your Log, your own timers and your settings stay.

Restoring Reti Pro, and redeeming a code

On a new phone, or after reinstalling, open Settings → Restore purchases in Reti, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought Pro with. Reti Pro is a yearly subscription: to change or cancel it, use Settings → Manage subscription in Reti, or Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your phone. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date and it stays on until the end of the year you paid for.

Given a code? Open the link it came with, or use Settings → Redeem a code in Reti. Codes are redeemed through Apple, and Pro turns on as soon as the sheet closes.

Exporting and deleting your data

Settings → Export your data gives you two files: a full JSON copy of your timers, settings and sessions for safekeeping, and your sessions as a CSV spreadsheet.

Settings → Delete everything removes every timer, setting and session from your phone in two steps. Deleting the app has the same effect.

What the free tier keeps

Free keeps every timer mode, every cue and 3 saved custom timers, with 30 days of session history — forever, not as a trial. Reti Pro is a yearly subscription, with a one-week free trial, that adds Coach and raises those limits to 50 saved custom timers and your whole history. If Pro ends, your Coach plan and your older sessions are kept, not deleted, and come back when you renew.

Privacy

No account, no ads, nothing leaves your phone. The details are in the privacy policy.
