Reti — Privacy Policy

What Reti stores, and where

Everything Reti records lives in its own storage area on your phone:

• Your timers — names, work and rest lengths, rounds, and any movements you attach.
• Your session history — when a session ran, how long, which mode, how many rounds.
• Your settings — appearance, cue volume, silent mode, audio output preferences.

These are ordinary files inside the app. They are included in your device backup if you back your device up, because that is how iOS treats app storage. Deleting Reti deletes them.

What Reti sends

Nothing. There is no sign-in, no account, no cloud sync, no advertising identifier, no attribution or tracking SDK and no third-party analytics. Reti does not ask for permission to track you, because there is nothing to track with.

This is checkable rather than asserted. Reti's privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking domains, and the app contains no code that makes a network request — no URLSession call, no URLRequest, no network connection of any kind. A build that added one would fail our own release check before it could ship.

When data leaves your phone, it is because you sent it

Four things in Reti hand a file to iOS's share sheet. In every case you choose the destination, and Reti has no involvement after that:

• Sharing a timer — so someone else can load the same intervals.
• Sharing a finished session — a summary of what you just did.
• Export your data (Settings) — a JSON or CSV copy of your timers, settings and sessions, for your own records.
• Send diagnostics (Settings, shown only when there is something to send) — a short technical summary of any crash, hang or slow launch iOS reported to the app: the kind of fault, how many, which build, and the system's reason. It contains no workout data and nothing you have typed.

If you are running a test build from TestFlight, you can also shake the phone to file a problem report. That opens the same share sheet. Nothing is sent automatically.

Diagnostics, in more detail

Reti uses MetricKit, a framework built into iOS. Apple gives the app a periodic report about its own stability and performance. Reti reduces each report to a summary, keeps a small capped number of them on the device, and shows the Send diagnostics row only if any exist.

Nothing is uploaded automatically. If you never tap Share, the summaries stay on your phone and are eventually rotated out.

Separately, if you install Reti through TestFlight, Apple reports your install and may send crash reports to us according to your TestFlight sharing setting. That is Apple's own collection, governed by Apple's privacy policy, and you control it in iOS Settings. It happens whatever the app does.

Microphone

Reti does not use the microphone and does not ask for access to it. The app contains no microphone or speech-recognition code, and no matching permission in its Info.plist.

Voice control is in development and is not in the app you can install today. When it ships it will ask permission first, recognition will run on your device, audio will not be written to disk, and no audio will be transmitted. This section will be updated in the same release that adds the feature — not before it, and not after.

Health and fitness data

Reti does not read from or write to Apple Health, and does not request access to it.

Children

Reti is a general-audience interval timer. It is not directed at children, collects nothing from anyone, children included, and contains no advertising and no user-to-user communication.

Reti does contain a small number of links that leave the app: this policy, the support email address, and the iOS Shortcuts gallery entry in Settings. They go to Apple or to us and nowhere else.

Purchases

Reti Pro cannot be bought in the current version. No purchase or price is shown, and no purchase is possible.

When it becomes available it will be a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Norvela will never see your payment details — Apple tells the app only whether the purchase exists.

Deleting everything

Settings has Delete everything, which removes every timer, setting and session from the phone. It asks twice, and offers an export first, because it cannot be undone. Deleting the app from your phone has the same effect.

Your rights

Because Reti holds no data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to look up, hand over or erase on request — your copy is the only copy, and you can export or delete it yourself at any time. If you would like that in writing for a specific regulation, ask and we will confirm it.

Changes to this policy

If Reti ever starts doing something this page does not describe, this page changes in the same release — not afterwards. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
